If you see someone that looks like Shaquille O’Neal onboard Carnival Cruise Line the next time you’re sailing the seas, there’s a good chance it really is the NBA Hall of Famer.

Shaq has teamed up with Carnival to be the brand’s new “Chief Fun Officer,” or as they call it, the “CFO,” helping the brand to promote the line’s entertaining onboard experiences.

“In today’s world, it’s more important than ever to choose fun, especially when everyone is busy with work, family, and life in general,” O’Neal said in an official statement about the partnership with Carnival, who in turn will feature Shaq in videos, social media campaigns and activations pushing the cruise line’s “Choose Fun” initiative. “So, I’m honored to be appointed the Chief Fun Officer at Carnival – a company that lives and breathes fun.”

With 25 ships in its fleet, Carnival Cruise Line is one of the most popular cruise lines in the world, and currently operates cruises to destinations like Cuba, Australia, Europe, Mexico and the Caribbean, with plans to add two new ships by 2019. The line serves more than 5 million guests ranging from singles to families every year.
