4 Safe Things To Do In NYC This Holiday Season
If you haven’t experienced the holiday season in New York City, you should definitely add it to your bucket list!
Christmas and New Years in the city is magical, filled with gorgeous decorations, holiday food and drinks, and iconic holiday displays.
Although the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has altered the way we gather and celebrate holidays, it doesn’t mean that you can’t safely enjoy this season.
Here are 4 ways to celebrate the holiday season in NYC:
Head to the free skating rink at Bryant Park which is open to those who book a timed reservation.
For views of the Statue of Liberty and the Hudson River, head to downtown Manhattan to The Rink at Brookfield Place!
NYC is the most magical during Christmas and store display windows are on another level during this time.
Although major department stores like Barneys closed this year, there are still great locations to view beautiful holiday displays. Head to Bloomingdales on Lexington Avenue or Macy’s on 34th street for gorgeous holiday decor!
This year there will be social distancing enforced, but the experience will still be amazing. This outdoor display is perfect for the entire family with ice-carving demonstrations, costumed characters, stilt walkers, animal lantern safaris and special holiday treats.
Located in the East River, this display includes plenty of stunning light sculptures. This interactive art experience is live until January 10th, 2021 and tickets are timed.
