In addition to two bags flying for free, Southwest Airlines is known for its popular fare sales advertised twice a year.

The flights, which are priced for as low as $49 each way, are for travel on the carrier’s shortest routes for travel booked typically between November and January of the following year.

While Southwest’s fare sale is something bargain travelers look forward to each year, they may now have other options for cheap travel. Southwest’s rivals including American, Delta, United, Spirit and Jet Blue have dropped round-trip ticket prices on dozens of flights comparable to Southwest’s deals, as reported in USA Today.

A one-way flight from Washington D.C. to New Orleans this December can be purchased for $79 during Southwest’s 72-hour sale.  That same flight can be purchased on American Airlines for $165 round-trip.

Most of the flights matching Southwest’s deal are Basic Economy fares, so keep in mind that there are some restrictions on the flights.

Southwest’s 72-hour-sale continues until midnight Thursday.

Below is a snapshot of some comparable flights to Southwest’s deals found on other airlines:

From New York to Chicago

Travel to Chicago can be purchased for as low as $79 one-way this December on Southwest.

A ticket on Jet Blue can be purchased for $89 one-way in November.

From Washington D.C. to New Orleans

Southwest’s low-fare calendar shows one-way flights to New Orleans for $79.

American Airlines has a flight for $165 round-trip for travel in early December.

From Minneapolis to Atlanta

For just $79 one-way, travelers from Minneapolis can head to Atlanta this December.

Delta, however, is headquartered in Atlanta, so $156 round-trip comes as no surprise.

From Dallas to Vegas

A good deal to Las Vegas from Dallas is priced as low as $89 one-way on Southwest.

A deal for $157 found on United in December is even better.

From Los Angeles to Houston

A one-way trip to Houston for travelers in the Los Angeles area is $129-one way on Southwest.

Or you can opt for a nearly $126 savings on Spirit Airlines. The round-trip ticket is $103.
