The restaurant scene in San Francisco suffered this year because of the COVID-19 pandemic–but thanks to outdoor dining, many restaurants and foodies are finding a new way to break bread with friends.

Here are our 10 favorite outdoor dining spots in San Francisco:

Located at the Phoenix Hotel, this spot is perfect for dinner and drinks by the pool. Indulge in the chickpea shakshuka and the warm chocolate cake for dessert!

If you’re looking for a spot with yummy handmade pasta, A Mano is a must. This Italian eatery with Northern California influence has the most delicious squid ink spaghetti and rigatoni.

Head to Zazie for an unforgettable date night in Cole Valley. This neighborhood bistro has absolutely delicious dishes like the fresh black truffle & porcini ravioli and braised lamb shank! What’s best is that this establishment is proudly tipi free.
