Consistent warm weather is approaching and after the year we’ve had, many are looking for ways to enjoy the outdoors and beautiful weather, while remaining safe.
Here’s a list of our favorite activities to get you outdoors this spring.
1. Grab Your Four-Legged Friend For A Day Out
Grab your extended family member and enjoy the warm weather as you head to your dog’s favorite place in the world, a local dog park. While this might seem like an activity only your dog might enjoy, dog parks like Atlanta’s Piedmont Park and New York City’s Central Park, have seating areas located in the dog park area for optimal viewing of your dog and people watching.
2. Sign-up For Outdoor Yoga
Warm weather is finally back, which means the return of our favorite outdoor activity, outdoor yoga. Find your inner peace, reduce stress, and soak up the sun all at the same time. If you prefer a group setting while still remaining safe, check out MODA Yoga’s outdoor pop-up classes in Los Angeles.
3. Put On Your Comfy Shoes & Let's Go Hiking
Make sure to grab a water bottle and your allergy medicine, then head to your favorite walking trail or national park. Hiking is the perfect way to social distance while also basking in the fresh air and nature all around you. Check out Sugarloaf Mountain in the DMV area for a 10-mile hike you will never forget.
4. Kayak With Wildlife
If you can’t get away, kayaking is an activity to make you feel as if you’re on vacation.
