From ice cream to hemp, there seems to be a museum for everything these days. According to CNN, the idea for the Museum of Hangovers came to founder Rino Dubokovic while he was out enjoying drinks with his friends. As expected, they started swapping their funniest hangover stories, sparking an idea: a museum of sorts “where all these objects from drunk stories would be exposed together with their stories.”

Six months later, on December 1, the Museum of Hangovers opened in Zagreb, Croatia with exhibits including displays of objects people found inexplicably the morning after a boozy night, a room where visitors can test their reflexes after putting on “beer goggles,” and an interactive section where they can share their own best and worst hangover experiences. The museum gift shop also features on-theme products like a “drunkopoly” board game and bar activities, like darts.

“The point of the museum isn’t to glorify overindulgence,” says Dubokovic to CNN. “Rather, it’s a physical representation of the kinds of chats I had with friends, where everyone is sharing stories and bonding about things they did in the past. In the future, we want to make people aware of the bad things related to alcohol.”

The museum also encourages you to share your personal stories through the website. Fill out an online form with your most impressive hangover story and you may even end up featured in the Museum of Hangovers collection.

Dubokovic, a computer science university student in Zagreb and no stranger to hangovers, hopes to secure additional funding to turn the Museum of Hangovers, which is currently only a test concept, into a larger, permanent establishment for a long-term “Unforgettable Place of Forgettable Things.”
