There are also direct flights out of IAD airport in D.C. for the same price via United.

This deal is also available from the NYC area.

There are dates spanning between November and February of 2020, so this is the perfect idea for a little winter escape.

Nassau is a city full of life and color. While most people visit the Bahamian capital from their cruise route, there is still a lot to see and do.

If you want a beach that’s a little quieter, then you should check out the Cable Beach area. Here you will find several resorts and a stretch of beach that doesn’t get as crowded.

Of course, you can always spend a day exploring all that there is around Atlantis resort. The beach that runs behind the property is amazing as well. It can be a little more choppy but it definitely provides the island vibes you are there for.

If you want to spend a day supporting mostly Black-owned businesses in the area, check out our suggestions here.

Depending on how much time you will be spending on your trip, you can make a trip out to one of the other islands. Exuma is where you can go to get up close and personal with the pigs who inhabit the area. Don’t worry; they are friendly.
