Miami is definitely a food city and the best part is, you don’t have to be a meat eater to enjoy the deliciousness of the many restaurants you will stumble upon. Great vegetarian and vegan restaurants are found in this beautiful city, from juice bars to comfort food and even Caribbean cuisine there are all types of places to enjoy.  Check out these restaurants and see if you can plan a visit on your next trip.

Next Generation Pizza

“Some traditions stand the test of time…some evolve” is the motto at Next Generation Pizza.  Homemade vegan cheeses, seasonal vegetables, and house-made vegan meats are piled on top of the sauce that was passed down the line of this family-owned pizza shop.  Sorry gluten-free lovers, they couldn’t sacrifice the purity of Great Grandma Mary’s pizza by taking out the gluten, but they’re working on creating something for you.

Eden In Eden

Eden In Eden is a vegetarian french cafe which also has vegan options. Whether it’s delivery, take-out or catering they have a great selection of sandwiches, salads, soups and quiches to fill your cravings.  The spinach quiche seems to be a favorite among customers.

Under The Mango Tree

A nice healthy shade to enlighten your spirit is the saying at Under The Mango Tree.  This is the perfect place to come after a morning run or workout. They have their acai superfood bowl which will surely recharge and energize you after you sweat it out.  Plenty of fresh juices and smoothies are also on the menu to choose from.

Konata’s Restaurant

Don’t let the size of this place fool you, Konata’s is busting with authentic Jamaican flavors for both vegetarians and vegans to enjoy.  Not only is the food great, but this establishment truly cares about the environment, both their cups and containers are compostable-plant fiber.  According to reviews, their Jamaican patties are the real deal!

Miami’s first plant-based gastropub is bringing you vegan and vegetarian cuisine blending healthy comfort food and good vibes serving brunch, lunch, and dinner.  The eclectic menu appeals to those that are health conscious and the full bar offers craft cocktails, draft beers, and a large sustainable wine menu.
