International Pride Month is upon us and after an unseasonably damp month of May, Los Angeles couldn’t be more ready to celebrate. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall rebellion, a series of uprisings led by trans women of color in New York City that inspired LGBTQ liberation movements all over the world. Perhaps more than usual, this Pride Month represents an opportunity to rejoice in how far we’ve come and let orange-hued naysayers know that we’re not losing steam anytime soon.

Here are our top picks for LA Pride Month events:

The ride is free and you can register on Eventbrite here.

Thankfully, they also have your grub covered and will offer cheap eats at a taco stand and ice cream truck. Attendees are encouraged to peacock and “dress inappropriately” for the photo booth.
