When you add in the numerous health benefits of the vitamin D that your body absorbs from the sun including healthier bones and a stronger immune system, the beach really is a haven for health.
Whether it’s a lake, ocean, or river it seems that any body of water can have this effect. So, the next time you book that beach getaway, know that you performing an act of self-care and looking after your mental health.
