Los Angeles was hit hard economically by the global pandemic. The restaurant industry took the biggest hit.

From March 1-14, you can support neighborhood favorites or find a new favorite as DineLA restaurant week begins.

Here are some of our recommendations for you to check out from Long Beach all the way to Pasadena.

Poppy + Rose – Downtown L.A

Poppy + Rose is the epitome of comfort food. For $35, you’ll get a three-course lunch. The buttermilk biscuits, shrimp and grits, fried chicken sandwich, and espresso chocolate mousse are some items you can get.

Casa Vega – Sherman Oaks

Welcome to the Valley, where this Mexican restaurant is thriving. Casa Vega is known to have the best tacos, enchiladas, burritos, and of course, margaritas. Their restaurant week deal is $20 for a three-course lunch or $35 for a three-course dinner with a margarita.

ReMix Kitchen Bar – Long Beach

ReMix Kitchen in Long Beach is serving up snacks and small plates, giving you an opportunity to try everything on the menu. The $25 deal for a three-course weekend lunch, and $35 three-course dinner, is one you can’t pass up. Pro Tip: Try the pork chop frites.

Meat on Ocean – Santa Barbara

When you arrive at Meat On Ocean, be ready to eat! The $65 three-course dinner (with the option to add a $30 wine pairing), will leave you satisfied. Pro Tip: Order the filet Mignon and pair it with a bottle of red wine.
