Prior to my trip to Florence, I had never had a blow-your-mind type of dining experience. I arrived in Florence with no expectations, other than simply wanting to have food, food and more amazing food. Safe to say:

After being in Florence for a few days, I was intrigued enough by a brightly lit restaurant to step inside. This restaurant, the Golden View Firenze, was steps from the Ponte Vecchio, the oldest bridge in Florence. Our table was perched at the window with a prime view of the bridge. As the Ponte Vecchio lit up and the smooth sounds of jazz filled the atmosphere, I was in awe.  Then they brought the food. Petto di Pollo al Formaggi e Tartufo // Patate in Ghiotta: Chicken breast with 4 cheeses and truffle cream and roasted potatoes.

Can someone say slap your whole family? The entire meal melted in my mouth. If you’re ever in Florence, or in Italy for that matter, stop by the Golden View Firenze. You will not be disappointed.
