It’s not every day that you find your dream career. For those who love food and travel, this could be it. Vibrant Vegan Co., a new London-based vegan subscription food delivery service, wants to pay you $66,000 a year to travel the world and eat vegan food. No lie.
The Director of Taste position is as good as it sounds. On top of the base salary, this full-time job offers incredible perks including all your travel expenses, food, and accommodations paid for, in addition to 28 vacation days. In exchange, you travel to countries like India, Chile, Japan, Mexico, and Turkey, you eat lots of vegan food, and you report back your findings.

So what does it take to be a Director of Taste? “I believe innovation is at the heart food, so I want someone with an innovative and creative mind to help us build on our current recipes,” said Iain Burke-Hamilton, founder of Vibrant Vegan Co.
They are also looking for someone with at least three years of experience in the food business or as a chef and candidates do not have to be vegans to apply. According to the job post, if you make it through the final stages of the rigorous interview process, you will have to pass a background check and the chosen candidate will also be required to complete an in-house taste test to see if their palate is up to scratch.
