Super Bowl Sunday is right around the corner and this year’s match-up looks to be legendary — at least on paper. Heir to the elite quarterback throne, Patrick Mahomes, and his defending champion Kansas City Chiefs take on six-time champion and ageless wonder Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

It’s also the first time a team will get to play on their home turf in the big game as the Bucs make the short trip to Raymond James Stadium a.k.a. the Ray Jay.

Any football fan knows that besides the actual game, the food is the MVP of Super Bowl viewing. Alicia Tenise is a top D.C.-based fashion, lifestyle, and travel blogger who shares everything from sartorial advice to date night tips.

She recently revealed her favorite game-day bites to Travel Noire.

According to Tenise, “The spicy, sour cream dipping sauce is what takes this to the next level. Just mix sour cream and your favorite hot sauce, and your mind will be blown.” She suggests adding a bit of chopped rosemary to the dipping sauce. Find the full recipe here.

These are surprisingly simple yet deceptively sophisticated treats. Tenise said that despite not being an artist, it was pretty easy to decorate the chocolate-coated berries. They’re also vegetarian-friendly which should please the non-meat eater in your life. Follow the tutorial at here.

Tenise declared this her favorite partly because of the “bougie-ness” of it all.

“I love that this appetizer also pairs well with a nice glass of Pinot Noir or Reisling,” she said. “Because, let’s be honest; rich aunties might drink a beer at a football party, but they’re really craving a glass of vino. Give the rich aunties what they want!” Find the recipe here.
