Flight Deal To Bogota, Colombia For Valentine’s Day

If you’re looking for a last minute getaway for two just ahead of Valentine’s Day, then these flight deals to Bogota, Columbia come just in time.

Bogota, the capital of Colombia, is often overlooked by Cartagena due to its location on the beach but it’s the perfect city for couples looking to mix thrill and relaxation.

For starters, visit Simon Bolivar Park, a popular metropolitan park located in the middle of the city.  It’s a top destination for locals, especially couples who want to have a picnic. During your visit, be sure to rent out a paddle boat for a romantic boat ride.

Next, try paragliding or skydiving in some of Colombia’s rural cities.

If you’re looking for something less chill, one place that stands out in the city of Bogota is Monserrate hill.  At the top of the hill, you will find the best panoramic views of the city.  The hike takes about two hours by foot, or you can opt to take a cable car. No matter if you visit during the sunset or sunrise

From New York

The cheapest option to Bogota from New York is on Spirit Airlines, according to Google Flights from Feb. 4 through Feb. 12 for $253 round-trip.

There’s a one-hour layer over in Fort Lauderdale.

From Chicago

If you’re leaving from Chicago, the best time to fly is on Valentine’s Day itself.  Spirit Airlines has a round-trip flight priced at $260 from Feb. 14 through Feb. 21.

From Detroit

People leaving from Detroit have the best travel dates for a Valentine’s Day trip. Flights depart Detroit on Feb. 11 and return on Feb. 19 for just $260 round-trip on Spirit Airlines.

 

From Los Angeles

There are no deals from Los Angeles for February, but that doesn’t mean a trip to Bogota can’t happen. The tickets will have to be in gift form for a later date.

InterJet has a round-trip flight from LAX for $363 round-trip on May 18 through May 25.
