It looks like the flight deal gods are finally realizing that the South needs love too. If you are looking for ideas on how to step up your New Year’s plans, you may want to take notes.

Delta Airlines just released a deal that will fly you nonstop from Atlanta to Amsterdam, Netherlands for only $444 roundtrip.

This deal is valid for those open to travel from November into February of 2020. While Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve aren’t included, you can fly in on New Year’s Day and start your 2020 in another country.

We found this deal using Skyscanner. When using this platform, you can sort by month to find the cheapest dates available. The lowest priced dates at the time of your search will populate in green. You can select the date range that works for you and follow the link to purchase.

For this post, we searched using 1/1-1/9.

This deal does not seem to have any restrictions as far as baggage or seating arrangements. However, you should double-check the airline’s website to make sure.

The capital of the Netherlands has a fun culture, a deep history, gorgeous architecture and an easy-to-navigate layout that makes it a must-see for visitors, no matter what your interests are. You can be strolling the streets of Amsterdam for a price that is almost too good to be true.

The city is known for its artistic heritage, elaborate canal system and narrow houses with gabled facades, legacies of the city’s 17th-century Golden Age. Its Museum District houses the Van Gogh Museum, works by Rembrandt and Vermeer at the Rijksmuseum, and modern art at the Stedelijk. Cycling is key to the city’s character, and there are numerous bike paths.

If you decide to travel in early 2020, keep in mind that January to March can be some of the coldest months in Amsterdam. Luckily, the city doesn’t get a lot of snow so you won’t have to worry about that. Just be sure to pack enough layers to keep you warm while you head out to explore.
