Winters in New York can be brutal, and it is always the right time to seek a little sun. Right now, Delta Airlines has low-priced flights to the U.S. Virgin Islands from The Big Apple. The lowest-priced routes are around $268.

These flights are valid on travel from now through early March. You should use Google Flights to find the dates that work best for you.

This low price option is apart of Delta’s ‘Basic Economy’ fare class. Per Delta’s website, the following rules apply:

  • You are allowed one personal item and one carry-on item, with access to the overhead bins.
  • Upgrades are not allowed.
  • You will not be able to select your set prior to check-in. If you need specific seating, you will have to pay an additional fee.
  • No changes can be made to the ticket once confirmed.

You can upgrade to regular economy for a $50 fee. Please note, that checked baggage is not included. The first checked bag carries a fee of $60 and the second will be $80.

The U.S. Virgin Islands include Saint Croix, Saint John, and Saint Thomas. Together, they are considered “America’s Caribbean Paradise.” Although the islands were hit hard by Hurricane Irma in 2017, they have made a quick recovery and are up and running for tourists.

St. Croix is the largest of the three islands. No matter what your interest may be, you are sure to find something that will excite you on this island. Whether you are history lover, water lover, or foodie, St. Croix has something to offer.

It is very easy to hop over to one of the other islands as well. You can get there by water taxi, seaplane, or helicopter. Why not make the most of your trip?

Hurry and book your flight before it’s too late.
