Marrakesh is a destination that should certainly be on your travel bucket list. Right now, those in and around Miami can fly to the North African city for only $409 roundtrip.

This low priced flight is operated by Air Europa. Since this is a European based airline, you will have a layover in Madrid, Spain. The layovers listed are pretty long so you can turn your trip into a 2-for-1.

The dates for this deal span from early October through early December. This trips span anywhere from 12-13 days. This is perfect for those who want to explore other cities within Morocco. You can use Skyscanner to find the dates that work best for you.

Marrakesh is a city full of color and history. As you plan your trip, look into staying in a Riad as opposed to a hotel. A Riad is a traditional Moroccan home that has been turned into a guesthouse. Many Riads are multi-level and have a dipping pool inside. The architecture inside will blow you away. The interesting part, is that most Riads are in the Medina and you typically have to go down narrow alleyways to find it. From the outside, you would never guess that a home like that would exist behind the door.

As you go out to explore, you will find yourself spending time around The Square. This area is where all of the action happens. Tourists and locals come together for live performances, grilled foods, and all around fellowshipping.

You will find several food stalls cooking up delicious meat skewers and variations of couscous. Marrakesh is known for its fresh squeezed orange juice as well. In the square, there are several vendors that will whip you up a glass on the spot.
