Flight Deal: Fly To Punta Cana From Atlanta For As Low As $265
By DeAnna Taylor
Punta Cana is home to 30 miles of white-sand, making it one of the Caribbean’s longest coastlines. This Dominican Republic hot spot is known as the land of rest and relaxation by the sea.
American Airlines has reduced fares from Atlanta to Punta Cana for as low as $265. The low priced fares are valid for dates starting in late September through February.
These flights have layovers in either Charlotte, NC or Miami, so you can explore another city during your trip too.
American Airlines has been dropping fares to many destinations through its Basic Economy class. While the title of ‘basic’ seems unattractive, there’s actually nothing basic about it. With American’s lower cost fare class, passengers will still have access to overhead storage bins for carry-on luggage, unlike its competitors. The major differences in the fare are that passengers cannot choose their seat prior to check-in, no changes can be made to the reservation after purchase, and passengers must board in the last group. Additionally, if you plan to check a bag, you will pay a higher price than normal with a cost of $60 for the first checked bag.
If that is no issue for you, use Google Flights to find the most accurate pricing for your proposed dates.
Punta Cana sits at the easternmost tip of the Dominican Republic and boasts warm weather all year round.
Most travelers choose to spend the majority of their time at their all-inclusive resort. If you decide to travel off of the beaten path, be sure to get a taste of the history and culture, which is highlighted by cigars, local coffee, and local rums.
Some popular attractions include: Anamuya Ziplines, which features 12 ziplines runs, Boca De Yuma, a daytime escape to a beautiful fishing village that resembles an Italian seaside town, and Bavaro Adventure Park, which features a little something for every adventurer at heart.
Catch this deal soon because it won’t be around very long.
