Now more than ever, these hotels are setting fresh notions on what it means to thrive in the hospitality industry.

Urban Cowboy – Nashville, TN
Created for the laid-back traveler, Urban Cowboy is a Black-owned hotel in the city exclusively for guests 21 and older. The Victorian-style mansion is the perfect blend of new and old with claw-foot bathtubs and high ceilings. With a chic vibe, delicious cocktails, and good music, this 8-suite hotel is a great place to meet new friends. There’s even a wood-fired pizza parlor in the back.
The Ivy Hotel – Mount Vernon, Maryland
For some real-life Bridgerton vibes right in the US, The Ivy Hotel in Maryland is the place to be. The 17-room hotel is glorious. However, each one has a special theme with unique decor that makes guests feel welcome and at home. Each morning a Southern-inspired breakfast is served, along with afternoon tea. The Brooklyn location is one of three Akwaaba Mansions across the country.

The Oak Bluffs Inn – Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts

Innkeepers Erika and Rhonda have owned and operated Oak Bluffs for 21 years, making it a staple in the Martha’s Vineyard community.
