This summer, guests at the Disneyland Resort, inside Disney California Adventure Park, will be able to join the ranks of ‘Earth’s Mightiest Heroes’ as the Avengers Campus opens to the public.

Starting from June 4, 2021, longtime fans of the Super Hero franchise and newbies alike will be able to enjoy an immersive experience featuring many of the iconic locations and landmarks from the Avengers Universe.

Spider-Man fans will get an opportunity to show off their web-slinging skills and might even catch a glimpse of the popular character himself as he performs high-flying acrobatic stunts on the rooftop of the Worldwide Engineering Brigade (WEB). But Spidey is not the only superhero likely to make an appearance. For the first time, Ant-Man is also coming to campus. He joins  Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Black Panther, and Thor for this latest adventure.

Eagle-eyed fans will also recognize the Shawarma Palace, where the Avengers were last seen wearily enjoying a meal at the end of the Battle for New York. There, guests can munch on hand-held savory wraps with fragrant chicken shawarma and garlic sauce or an Impossible plant-based falafel wrap. Learn the ways of the Wakandans and train with the bodyguards of the Dora Milaje, led by Okoye.

“We are so excited to soon welcome our guests to Avengers Campus, our first land dedicated to Super Heroes,” said Ken Potrock, president, Disneyland Resort. “Here, our cast members will unite to help guests of all ages find their superpowers and create special memories.”

The news comes as Disneyland itself reopens on April 30. The theme park based in Anaheim, California, has been closed for more than a year because of the Covid-19 pandemic, causing mass layoffs across Disney.

“The last 12 months have been incredibly difficult, but our future holds endless opportunities to help you escape the everyday and share magical moments with those you care about,” said Josh D’Amaro, Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products. “Our incredible team is resilient – they’re inspired and focused on the future. I am excited to see Guests coming back to our parks around the world, and I’m even more excited to see our Cast Members returning to work and to see our businesses once again revitalize local communities.”
