Who Grover is great for

Instead of purchasing a GoPro or DSLR camera that you’ll hardly use, consider renting during your travels. It’s a great way to try out different gadgets and see what works best for your content style.

Grover is also great for those wanting to be more sustainable and financially conscious when traveling. Airfare and hotels are already expensive, you shouldn’t have to worry about the cost of equipment for creating content.

Here’s how it works:

  1. You first start by choosing the tech you want to rent, how many months you want to rent it for, and make your first payment.
  2. You pay the first month’s rent and then you’re billed monthly. If you want to renew after your minimum rental period, you can switch to a longer plan.
  3. When your rental period is over, print your free return label and send your rental back to Grover.

Not only are the returns free, but the products are always in great condition and lightly refurbished. If anything gets damaged, Grover will cover 90% of the repair costs.

If you love your rental, you’ll have the opportunity to purchase the item by paying off your monthly subscription payments.

What kind of items can you rent?

You can rent items for up to 18 months. Some of the most popular items right now are the Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max ($54.90 per month for 12 months), DJI OM 5 Sunset White Smartphone stabilizer ($7.90 per month for 12 months), and the Sony ZV-1 Vlogging Camera ($29.90 per month for 12 months).

What are the requirements for renting?

When renting with Grover, they will ask for your information to verify you’re a real person. There will also be a short credit check. Once your credit and data check are good, you’ll be able to rent, which takes 24 hours or less.
