If you know a college student, we highly encourage you to share this amazing opportunity with them. The Department of State, through its NGO partner Global Ties U.S., is accepting applications from students age 18-29, to serve as Youth Ambassadors in Dubai.

Those chosen for this position will act as a guide and cultural ambassador at the U.S. Pavilion during Expo 2021. They will have frequent encounters with global visitors, who may not always speak English. Knowledge of a secondary language is encouraged, but it is not required to apply.

The Expo will take place October 1, 2021- March 31, 2022. Youth Ambassadors can choose to serve the entire 6 months, or a fall or spring term of approximately 3 months. The appointment comes with all transportation costs, housing and a weekly stipend of $300.

Students from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply, and popular site HBCU Connect is pushing for more HBCU students to apply. This is a great opportunity to gain invaluable global experience, in an amazing destination.
