Travel & Leisure recently released a slew of lists ranking everything from the best hotels to the best islands in their World’s Best Awards 2019.

According to msn.com, the awards are based on a survey that includes responses from thousands of experienced travelers. And it appears that these travelers have spoken when it comes to the best city in the United States.

Charleston, South Carolina takes the number one spot for the fourth time since 2016. Even more impressively, Charleston was voted by Travel & Leisure as the best city in the world in 2016 and took the second spot on that list for 2017.

From arts and culture to its coastal vibe, Charleston has something to offer just about everyone.
