The online CBD wellness retailer Standard Dose has now opened a 2,400 square foot flagship store in Manhattan.

CBD has been trending hard lately amongst millennials and the wellness community.

For those who aren’t familiar, CBD is short for cannabidiol which is a chemical compound found in Cannabis. It is not as potent as THC but it does help with managing stress, pain and skin conditions such as eczema, acne, and psoriasis.

Despite the list of benefits, it should be noted that CBD still has mixed reviews by the scientific community.

Every product sold at Standard Dose is tested to ensure there is maximum potency.

Customers are even allowed to play around with the products to ensure they find the best fit possible.

The use of recreational cannabis has not yet been legalized in New York but selling CBD products are allowed.

Walk into Standard Dose and you will be greeted by chic minimalist interiors while being able to shop for capsules, bloodstream patches, oils, topical creams and more.

Standard Dose opened its flagship in May and will be launching new offers throughout the summer.

The vibe consists of a serene, light-filled space with a digital skylight, providing realistic “sun” which shines down into a meditation room.

After meditation, you can sip on a complimentary cup of CBD infused tea which is meant to keep you in a tranquil mental state for a bit longer.

There are future plans for the space hosting workshops, panel discussions, and other wellness-related events.

Continue your chill experience by heading to their rooftop and getting a full view of the Flatiron District.

Free 60-minute yoga classes are offered every morning on the rooftop.

This fall there will be a reveal of the final component of the space — a spa which will offer facials and massages using CBD oil.

According to Travel+Leisure, this store is the first of it’s kind in the U.S.
