Passengers Stranded For Days After Canceled British Airways Flight

British Airways passengers received the travel experience from hell after being stranded in an airport for two or three days. Last Thursday, a British Airways flight experienced mechanical issues on the plane, causing the flight to be canceled, leaving two hundred passengers stranded.
The flight was meant to fly to Gatwick Airport in London from Orlando. Passengers waited on the plane for four hours for before they were all sent to be housed in local hotels near the airport. Passengers were apparently left hungry, and some children were experiencing panic attacks.
The next day, they were rerouted to JFK Airport in New York as a “precaution,” only to be stranded once again. Allegedly, there were a limited number of hotels due to the NYC marathon taking place.
Passengers tweeted about the unpleasant experience tagging numerous news outlets and using the hashtag #BA2036, which is the flight number.
The airline apologized saying, “Our aircraft diverted to New York on Saturday morning as a precaution, following a minor technical issue. We are sorry to our customers for the delay to their travel plans.”
A new plane was sent to pick up passengers Saturday morning.
Other complaints with the airline include poor communication, charging for seats next to each other, reports of missing luggage and their recent cyber attack, affecting account holders credit card information, addresses, and name.
