The Goodyear blimp is iconic—flying high and has provided some of the best camera angles for sports fans across the country since 1955.
Speaking of angles, Goodyear is offering the public a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for a special few to spend a night in the blimp to capture the angles within ahead of the rivaled football game in Ann Arbor on Oct. 26 between Norte Dame and Michigan.

The company has placed the blimp on Airbnb as “A Touchdown Stay in the Goodyear Blimp” for three separate nights from Oct. 22 through Oct. 24 at the tire company’s Mogadore, OH facility.
About The Goodyear Blimp Space
Each night from Oct. 22 through Oct. 24 will cost $150 per night, plus taxes and fees. The fees represent the 150th anniversary of college football.
Decorated in yellow and blue, the space accommodates two guests. There’s a bed, chairs, a couch, and more.

Guests will be greeted by Goodyear Chief Pilot Jerry Hissem as they enter the hangar. In addition, those chosen to stay in the blimp can invite two additional guests to come enjoy the experience prior to retiring to the gondola of the Blimp for the night.
“The Blimp has always been about the fans and giving them a better way to experience the game,” said Hissem. “We’re continuing this tradition by giving fans an experience they’ll never forget by listing the Blimp on Airbnb.”
From a grill, fire pit, to the cornhole toss, guests will have everything needed for proper pre-game tailgate festivities.
Reservation opportunities started Oct. 15 and Goodyear officials recommend keeping an eye on this listing page so “you don’t fumble your chance to request a stay on your desired date.”
