Black Twitter Reacts To 'Sexiest Accent In The USA' List
Big 7 Media, a content site that focuses on travel, food, and hotels, released a “Top 50 Sexiest Accents In The USA – Ranked” list, which has divided Twitter across geographical lines.

Number one on the list? Texas.
“Who can resist a slow, Texan drawl? Not us, and not our community, clearly,” writes Big 7. “The typical Texan accent is a “Southern accent with a twist”, with strong ‘r’s and plenty of ‘Howdy’s.’ America’s sexiest accent? We’d have to agree.”
The Texas delegation seems to agree.
Boston, number two on the list, seemed to generate significant controversy.
One Twitter user had strong thoughts about the city, calling for it to be “nuked.”
New Yorkers also took offense to the ranking, which was snubbed by Boston, ranking at number three.
Twitter also reacted to other areas in the U.S. that made the list, including Miami. Some Floridians expressed confusion about Miami having a universal accent.
California residents also expressed confusion.
Coming in dead last is Long Island. Big 7 says it understands that natives might be upset, but says “can they really disagree?”
