As summer pushes forward, we are starting to see businesses reopen in a limited capacity across the country. Many restaurants are offering outdoor dining options only, forcing some of us to change our dining searches from “best food” to “best views”.  If you are in the Boston area, here are some spots that offer both.

The Temazcal Seaport location is now open. The restaurant is a true pioneer in the transformation of the Boston Seaport District and the outdoor dining option offers spectacular views of the harbor, especially at sunset. If the views aren’t enough, the full tequila menu and all day delicacies of tacos, fajitas, and enchiladas should satisfy any Mexican food withdrawals you’ve had in the past few months.

75 on Liberty Waft first opened its doors in 2012 and has quickly become a staple in the Seaport dining scene. Enjoy a bowl of New England clam chowder with a side of harbor views and the city skyline to reconnect with friends. The seafood-fueled menu also features crab cakes, steamed mussels, and Nantucket Seafood Stew made with gulf shrimp, bay scallops, PEI mussels, salmon, swordfish, garden vegetables and bliss potatoes in a saffron-tomato broth.

According to the website, Gather is a full-service restaurant and bar overlooking Boston Harbor, serving inventive, modern American inspired cuisine that accommodates all palates. Located in District Hall, Gather proudly sources all their ingredients from neighboring areas whenever possible. Catch some sun on their outdoor patio while taking in the views of the bustling Seaport.

Located at Fan Pier in Boston’s beautiful Seaport District, Strega Waterfront is certainly Boston’s foremost dining destination with breathtaking oceanfront views, dazzling interiors and a new twist on its famous Italian cuisine. Both indoor and outdoor dining is currently available and reservations should be made in advance to grab a spot on the patio.

Ocean Prime Boston is located in the new 100 Pier 4 building in Boston’s bustling Seaport District, and offers a menu featuring the highest quality steak, seafood, handcrafted cocktails and an award-winning wine list. Masks are required in all common areas of the restaurant and can be removed once seated. Enjoy a perfectly cooked steak on the outdoor patio while overlooking the Boston Harbor.
