They say everything is bigger in Texas, so that means the food is as well. Texas is known for its prime cut steaks, big beef burgers and of course everyone’s favorite, tacos.

That’s not all Texas has to offer. Dallas, a city known for its rugged hats and committed football fans, is also known for having diverse restaurants with amazing brunch menus fit to please any traveler’s taste buds. Here are some of the best spots that TN found in Cowboy City.

Chicken and waffles are good, but have you had Mediterranean food on a Sunday? This family-owned restaurant offers an all-you-can-eat brunch equipped with bottomless mimosas every Sunday. With not one but two locations in the Dallas area, Ziziki’s lengthy brunch menus have so many options to choose from.

Ten Eleven Grill

This black-owned bar and grill has become a pillar in the Dallas community. Their well-known Sunday brunch called For The Soul Sundays packs the restaurant out each week with great tunes and even better food. Ten Eleven isn’t just known for brunch. The spot is often rented out for spoken word, private parties, sporting events and more.

Henry’s Majestic is a dog-friendly hotspot for brunch. The diverse menu will give travelers the chance to choose between oysters, a Texas pho bowl or a simple salad. With plenty of space, Henry’s is most famous for the “sparkle bar,” a DIY mimosa bar where drinks can be made with sparkling wine, absinthe, and fresh fruit. Pairing it with the breakfast ramen, a hangover remedy, it’s definitely worth the trip.

If travelers are in Dallas and have a taste for New Orleans cuisine while visiting the Texas city, Bucky Moonshine’s is the place to be. Serving dishes like Gator Bites or Memphis Chicken & Jalapeno Waffle, this brunch spot draws in crowds ready for good food, live music of all genres and killer Bloody Marys.

Whoever said brunch is just for Sundays wasn’t telling the truth. Ellen’s, in the West End historic district, is known for serving brunch around the clock, any day of the week. Since opening back in 2012, the restaurant caters to the needs of all foodies. Some fan favorites include the Pancake Pot Pie, half-price Mexica brunch specials on Tuesdays, and for those that like to eat fancy, Ellen’s hosts afternoon tea on Thursdays at 3:00 pm.
