If you are currently on the East coast or in the Midwest, then you are still trying to recover from the snowstorm that hit in the last few days.
Unfortunately, you aren’t in the clear just yet. AccuWeather has predicted that another large storm will hit the regions over the coming weekend.
“During the week, temperatures will begin to rise with relatively dry conditions throughout the country,” AccuWeather senior meteorologist Kristina Pydynowski said. “The calmer conditions will give crews ample opportunity to complete snowstorm cleanup operations and allow travel to get back to normal,” she said.
Things will begin to make a turn again around the middle of the week. Most of the Midwest and parts of New England will see temperatures drop back down into the single digits. On Thursday, the Midwest, Northeast, and Mid-Atlantic areas will see start to see snow or wintry mix coming in.

Weather experts say that’s not even the half of what is expected.
This most recent storm made its mark. Almost 100,000 homes and businesses remained without power on Monday in Missouri, Kansas, North Carolina, and Virginia. North Carolina reported the most outages, with over 50,000 residents without power as of Monday. Gov. Roy Cooper declared a state of emergency and urged residents to stay off roads. “Thanks to the crews working hard to restore power and keep our roads safe,” he said.
There have been several flights delays as well. A jet even slid off a runway in Cincinnati on Sunday, though luckily no one was injured.
