Survey Reveals That Americans Would Rather Spend Hours In A TSA Security Line
With the holiday season in full effect and a new year approaching, it’s safe to say that this is one of the hardest years we have collectively experienced.
Americans are so fatigued and ready to travel that a recent survey of 2,000 American adults revealed 63% of those surveyed would rather spend 3 hours in a TSA security line every day than have to stay inside for the remainder of the year. 84% of those surveyed said they missed traveling this year and 56% said missing traveling was their main contributor to having “quarantine fatigue.”
Most of the Americans surveyed revealed that they last traveled 6 months before the pandemic hit.
The poll, conducted by OnePoll for Apple Vacations found that this year marked the longest period of time 70% of those surveyed went without traveling.
Michael Lowerey, Senior Vice President and GM of AppleVacations.com says, “After months of isolation at home, we are finding that people are ready to start traveling again as long as they feel that destinations and travel partners and prioritising health and safety.”
Two in five of those surveyed say they will now be packing gloves when traveling.
“Traveling is evolving and changing with the times. While it may not look similar to what it once was, the future is bright and people are looking forward to getting away and enjoying their time together,” says Lowry.
