As the weather begins to get colder, the need for a warm getaway is a must. Traveling to the Caribbean during winter has become increasingly easier thanks to the increase of flight routes.

These 7 airline routes will be flying to the Caribbean this winter:

Charlotte, NC to Grenada – American Airlines

Starting December 12, 2019, you can fly directly to Grenada from Charlotte, NC with American Airlines. The flights will only be available on Saturdays.

Chicago (ORD) to St. Lucia – American Airlines

December 21, 2019, will be the start of seasonal service between Chicago O’Hare and St. Lucia’s Hewaanorra International with American Airlines. The best thing about this route is that fares are in the low $800s.

Dallas (DFW) and Chicago (ORD) to St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands – American Airlines

American Airlines will be launching Saturday-only flights on December 21, 2019. The flights will depart from both Dallas/Fort Worth and Chicago O’Hare.

Minneapolis to the Bahamas, Sun Country

If you live in the Midwest, get ready because on December 21, 2019, Sun Country will launch direct routes from Minneapolis – St. Paul and Nassau.

In case you haven’t heard of Sun Country, it’s a budget airline that charges for seat selection and carry-on bags.

New York (LGA) to Bermuda – American Airlines

Looking for a budget-friendly deal? You can find flights from La Guardia to Bermuda for as low as $322 from December 2019 until April 2020.

New York (JFK) to Jamaica – American Airlines

Starting on November 21, 2019, there will be daily routes from JFK to Montego Bay, Jamaica. Flights are around $400.

New York (JFK) to Guadeloupe – JetBlue

JetBlue will be launching direct flights between JFK Airport to Guadeloupe on February 1, 2020.

According to AFAR, “this new flight route will make JetBlue the only airline to operate flights between the Northeast and the French overseas territory.” This new route comes after services were ended earlier in 2019 with Norwegian Air.
