2019's Best And Worst Airports In America
Navigating through airports isn’t particularly enjoyable, but the fun that awaits us once we arrive at our destinations makes it a fair trade-off. The Points Guy is helping passengers improve their airport experiences with the release of a list that ranks the best and worst airports in the country. Scores are given based on a variety of factors including sustainability efforts, local community involvement, city traffic analytics, as well as on-time departure and arrival statistics.
This year, San Diego International Airport tops the list for its on-time flight record, amenities, and convenient location, just seven minutes from downtown. Chicago’s Midway International Airport was given the title of worst airport in 2019, thanks to its paltry amenities, poor punctuality, and its distance from the city center.
