Los Angeles is full of amazing places every tourist must visit when they’re in the city. The many different neighborhoods within the City of Angels are all unique in their own way.  No one area is like the other. There are countless things that you can see and do to enjoy yourself while in Los Angeles.

In order to make sure you’re hip to some of the best spots in L.A., we’ve taken the liberty of researching the 11 most Instagrammable places in the city. When you visit these areas, be sure your phone is out because you’ll definitely want to flick it up in these spots and do it for the ‘gram.

 

Hollywood Walk Of Fame

This spot is, without a doubt, one of the most popular tourist attractions in the entire city. Come here to take some pics with the stars of world-renowned entertainment figures, both living and dead. From Marilyn Monroe, Michael Jackson, Tom Hanks, Mariah Carey, and even Mickey Mouse; celebs’ stars are here and waiting for you to snap photos and show your friends on IG.

 

Santa Monica Pier

Santa Monica Pier is another incredible spot to take some cool pics. Whether you’re walking around the shopping areas, taking a nice stroll on the beach or going on rides at Pacific Park; Santa Monica Pier is a definite tourist destination where you’ll love to smile for the camera.


 

Universal City

Pacific Park in Santa Monica isn’t the only place with fun rides and photo opportunities. Check out Universal Studios Hollywood! From the epic rollercoasters to fun games; Universal City is the perfect destination if you want to find a place that will make you smile from the minute to arrive until the minute you leave. If you’re not into theme parks, there’s the Universal CityWalk next door, an exciting entertainment and shopping district. Shop ‘til you drop or watch a great movie in the theater, and then post for your friends to see. They’ll be jealous.

 

NOBU

Want an amazing, unforgettable dining experience while you’re in L.A.? Then NOBU should definitely be on your list of places to visit. There are a number of locations in California. But, if you want one with a great beach background for beautiful pics that’s as close to L.A., then the Malibu restaurant is your best bet. It’s best to go with a big group of people.

 

Rodeo Drive

Who hasn’t heard of the legendary shopping area that is Rodeo Drive?! This area is known for having some of the best clothing stores in Los Angeles. It’s also very common to see many celebrities coming out of these shops with bags of newly bought items. Be sure to bring some money, so you can show off your new Rodeo Drive outfits as you visit these other spots!

 

The Hollywood Sign

The infamous Hollywood sign is another fun spot where you can get your Tyra Banks on. Countless people from all around the world trek to the ginormous sign to prove that they are, indeed, in La La Land. Make sure your phone is fully charged before you arrive there and once you’re in front of the sign, unapologetically fire away with the snapshots!

 

The Getty Center

This spot is another incredible place that you have to visit if you’re ever in the city. Not only does it have beautiful artwork that you can check out, but because of its great location on a gorgeous hilltop, the views from this place are jaw-dropping. The Getty Center is the perfect place to take some amazing Instagram photos, if you ask us.

 

The Griffith Observatory

Here’s another place to take some great hilltop photos! If you’re an outer space nut, then the Griffith Observatory has fun things to do. You can look through a telescope that’ll make you feel like you’re practically on the moon, as well as participate in other experiences like the Hall of the Sky and Hall of the Eye. The views from the observatory are incredible for pictures, too.

 

Staples Center

How can we almost forget the iconic Staples Center? The grounds for everything from Lakers games, to musical concerts and fun events; this venue is a top spot to flick it up. You can either take great pics from inside of the vast facility or outside near the statues of legendary sports figures. Either way, it’s a fun location to pose for pics.

 

Oue Skyspace LA

This tourist attraction isn’t that old. It opened in 2016, and it’s been popular ever since. Oue Skyspace LA is the highest open-air observatory deck in the city, extending 1,000 feet in the air! It also has panoramic, 360-degree views of the entire Los Angeles city. What more can you ask for?!

 

Runyon Canyon

Runyon Canyon is one of the most popular hiking attractions in Los Angeles. It starts a couple of blocks from Hollywood Blvd and then ends back down the hill in the center of Hollywood, close to the TCL Chinese Theatre, the Hollywood Museum and more. Snap it up with the great views from the breath-taking walk.
