Imagine all your favorite American bites lost in vegan translation. Located in the East Austin Culture District, Community Vegan’s food has taken over the district one vegan at a time. Make sure to try their Vegan Lickin Good Bucket which features a sampler of their top menu items all in a bucket to go!

This Black Family- owned eatery produces coconut milk and avocado-based ice cream. All of their desserts are dairy free and made with organic ingredients. Their tasty treats will keep you coming back for more.

Established in 2004, Baby Greens reimagined fast food by selling made-to-order salads and wraps. In 2016, this award- winning restaurant relocated to North Austin converting a car dealership into their new fast food salad empire.

4. Habesha Ethiopian Restaurant & Bar

Walking into Habesha Restaurant Bar you’re immediately transported to Ethiopia. A communal experience when it comes to dining, Habesha maintains their traditional values via their authentic cuisines and cooking style. Expect lots of flavors and very warm spices. Be sure to request their vegan options.

5. Taste Of Ethipoia

Taste of Ethiopia is another gem in Austin that serves tasty vegetarian options. Expect a little spice on your dish, as the locals and tourists alike rave about Taste’s authentic cuisine. Be sure to wash down some of that injera with one of their imported Ethiopian beer options from the menu.
