While ordinarily parking spots are plentiful and free in the SoFi Stadium area, Super Bowl Sunday tells a whole other story.

As Los Angeles prepares to host the Super Bowl for the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals game, residents and locals have not neglected to make the most of the busy Super Bowl Sunday. Anyone in the local area with a garage, driveway or any park-worthy space, will find themselves in luck on February 13 for the game.

Inglewood’s residents are making the most of their free space and are willing to rent at a price that they deem correct for this special event. On the exchange website StubHub, prices for a parking ticket vary massively.

The highest for a parking space in the region will cost you $5,000 while $100 may get you a humbler spot in a garage a distance away from the stadium. The likelihood is prices will only continue to rise as we edge closer to Super Bowl Sunday.

Residents and resellers are listing spaces on Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace in the hopes to bring in some extra cash during the game. SpotHero is another alternative for visitors looking for a parking space deal for their Super Bowl visit.

It is estimated that about 150,000 non-residents will travel in to the town during the Super Bowl period, often staying for as long as four days.

Some residents have been preparing to rent their parking spaces for months now, and others are testing it out for the first time during this busy and highly-anticipated season. This unofficial routine has grown in popularity amongst Inglewood residents since the parking permit restrictions came into play in relation to the SoFi Stadium.

On the official website, the price for a standard size vehicle costs $120. A Limousine and Sprinter van costs $240, a minibus costs $300 and a bus is $360. Parking opens at 10.30am Sunday 13 February and these spaces run the risk of selling out. There are also official shuttle services run by Super Bowl.
