We know a dream job when we see it, and this is the one. A professional childcare job portal, Jobs in Childcare, is known for matching nannies with affluent and high-net-worth families.
A job recently posted on the portal called for someone to look after a 4-year old boy in Aspen.
The lucky person must pass a background check, have at least 5 years experience working in private households, know at least one other language, work up to 12 hours a day, and have a love for and knowledge of skiing.
The job is listed as paying between $120,000 and $135,000 a year. You will be expected to help the young boy with his skiing and snowboarding skills, while also caring for him daily.
In addition to the salary, the nanny will travel internationally with the family and be provided housing by the parents.
“As a nanny/governess you will be responsible for meeting all of the child’s daily needs and routines — wake up, mealtimes, cleanliness, play, development, education, schedules, and bedtime duties,” the job description reads. “In addition to this, a background in education and early years would be beneficial to offer a homeschooling environment when required as well act as an appropriate role model/mentor to him to promote good manners, teach etiquette, and promote learning at every opportunity.”
